Do you have price sheets?
No. Because of constantly changing market prices, RMR is unable to provide price sheets to its customers. Please contact our scales team for current rates.
Are there any specific holidays that you are closed?
Yes, RMR is closed Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following it, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
What is needed for me to sell scrap material?
- An unexpired drivers license or state or federally issued photo identification card.
- You must be able to give the physical address where the regulated metals were obtained and the date when purchased.

Do you buy batteries or catalytic converters?
Yes, we are now buying batteries. Please contact our scales team for more information. We do not buy catalytic converters.
Is RMR, Inc the same company that used to be called N.C. Hide & Fur and Rocky Mount Recyclers, Inc?
Yes, N.C. Hide and Fur changed names in 1988 to Rocky Mount Recyclers, Inc better reflect its current operations.
In 2012, Rocky Mount Recyclers, Inc placed its operations in Rocky Mount, Fayetteville and Elizabethtown under the new name Regional Materials Recovery, Inc.
Where is the container number on my onsite container located? What does it look like?
Container Numbers are painted on or are decals and will start with one of the following letters: B__, D__, E__, F__, G__, H__, J__, L__, OR__, R__, S__, T__, or U__ followed by a number.
